Yes, our artists at Blue Lotus Tattoo Shop are skilled in creating custom designs. We encourage our clients to bring in any reference images, ideas, or sketches they have in mind. Our artists will work closely with you to bring your vision to life, ensuring that the tattoo is personalized and unique to your preferences.

Some types of scars may be tattooed over. Consult with your experienced tattoo artist. Surgical scars should be at least 6 months old before they can be tattooed over.

Absolutely! We understand that having support during your tattoo session can be comforting. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member with you to accompany you during the process. However, please note that we have limited space and may ask that they wait in our designated waiting area if it becomes too crowded in the tattooing area. Safety and comfort for both our clients and artists are our top priorities

The healing time for a tattoo can vary depending on its size, placement, and individual factors. Generally, it takes about 2-4 weeks for the outer layer of skin to heal. Our artists will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions, including proper cleaning, moisturizing, and avoiding excessive sun exposure. Following these guidelines will help promote faster healing and ensure the longevity and vibrancy of your tattoo.

To preserve the colors in your tattoo, avoid direct sun exposure or exposure in tanning beds. Use sunscreen if the tattoo is exposed to sunlight and or cover it with a bandage.

In Texas, you must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo. Minors are not legally allowed to get tattooed, even with parental consent, except in very limited medical circumstances. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at the time of your appointment to verify age.

Yes! We happily offer ear piercing for children, ages 6 months and up.

In Texas, minors under 18 are eligible for most piercings with parental consent, and we require a parent or legal guardian to be present during the procedure, and sign an affidavit stating you are the child's parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must bring a valid, government-issued photo ID, and child's birth certificate or government issued photo ID.
